We will hosting a mountain travel training & winter overnight, both requirements for candidate advancement to patroller, on April 18 & 19.
The training will involve techniques for traveling across potentially hazardous terrain, and practice with emergency procedures like z-pulleys. The overnight will be a mellow campout in the snow. The Mountain Travel training portion will be during the day on Saturday, so if you are able to attend the training but not the overnight, that is fine.
